The documentary tells the stories of those singing in the Choir of the Armenian Association for the Blind. The choir formed back in USSR and struggled through the difficult social conditions in newly independent Armenia. Since 1976, roughly 70 percent of the choir members are blind singers. Following Armenia’s “velvet revolution” in 2018, new hopes and expectations have arisen for stronger support and better conditions. Yet, today, the choir’s fate remains vague.
