Filmed entirely in Detroit, a chance encounter between a young man and woman leads into a whimsical journey of love and destiny. Born in Baku, talented director Oksana Mirzoyan’s family was forced to evacuate to Moscow before making her way to the United States. She is currently part of the team at BARS MEDIA in Yerevan which produced THE LAST TIGHTROPE DANCER IN ARMENIA, winner of the Best Documentary Film at the 2010 Pomegranate Film Festival. Mirzoyan landed in Yerevan by way of BIRTHRIGHT ARMENIA and will conduct a brief presentation about that organization prior to the screening of her film. While LE PETIT BIJOU will resonate with all age groups, all those between the ages of 18 to 32 who are interested in travelling and working in Armenia, are encouraged to attend this special presentation about BIRTHRIGHT ARMENIA at 12pm on Sunday December 4th at the Hamazkayin Theatre.
