Recently screened to much laughter & applause at the 2010 Toronto International Film Festival, Chooch and Ponch are hit men. While waiting to knock off a mark at a cottage in Muskoka, they ponder what life might have in store if they quit their day jobs and pursued their unrealized potential. Emmanuel Shirinian studied at Concordia University, the Canadian Film Centre and the National Screen Institute. His previous short film Song of Slomon, was previously screened at the Pomegranate Film Festival in 2008. He is at his existential best as he teams up with Russell Bennett (The Last Bang – Pomegranate Film Festival 2007) in directing Les Softies. Shirinian is about to embark on his first feature film, Born Into This.
